Is Inter Summer Camp a scuola calcio? keyboard_arrow_down

Inter Summer Camp isn’t a scuola calcio Inter.

Inter Summer Camp is a summer camp that gives boys and girls the opportunity to spend a football holiday. During the camps, participants can train following the Inter method and philosophy.

Will auditions be held during Inter Summer Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

No auditions will be held during Inter Summer Camp. However, the “Search for Talent” program is active for each Camp: every participant will have the opportunity to take part in technical and functional evaluations to assess their skills.

Participant

My kid doesn't play football or is not part of a football team, can he participate in a Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Inter Summer Camp is open to everyone, regardless of competitive and non-competitive experience. The Technical Staff will support the participants based on their football skills.

What is the age range for boys and girls to participate in Inter Summer Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Residential Inter Summer Camp is for boys and girls aged 8 to 17.

Day Camps are for girls and boys aged 6 to 14.

The Football + English Vacation in Britain is for boys and girls aged 12 to 17.

My son plays football as a goalkeeper. Is there any specific training provided? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, the Inter Youth Sector who train goalkeepers are present during each session, and specific programs are offered for this role.

Registration

How long are registration open? keyboard_arrow_down

Registration opens on 12/02/2025 and closes once the maximum number of available seats is reached

Do I have to pay a depost? keyboard_arrow_down

You can pay a deposit for our Residential Camps and Study Abroad program. A one-time payment is required for Day Camps. The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or credit card. It must be paid within 7 days of the online booking. The deposit and balance option is available until 13 May: from 14 May, a one time payment will be required.

For residential camps, when is the balance due? keyboard_arrow_down

(a) The balance for the holiday must be paid as follows:

from 1°May and by 13 May 2025 for:

– Monte Baldo rotation 1 – Monte Baldo rotation 2 – Monte Baldo rotation3;

– Val Seriana rotation 1 – Val Seriana rotation 2 – Val Seriana rotation 3;

– Study Holiday + Football Great Britain rotation 1.

From 1°June and 13 June 2025 for:

– Monte Baldo rotation 4 – Monte Baldo rotation 5 – Monte Baldo rotation 6 – Monte Baldo rotation 7;

– Val Seriana rotation 4;

– Study Holiday + Football Great Britain rotation 2.

b) For registration made on or after 14 May 2025:

–  A one-time payment is required within 7 days from the date of the online booking.

What documents are required to bring to the Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

A valid competitive or non-competitive certificate is MANDATORY to participate in any sports activities at Inter Summer Camp.

The participant will not be allowed to join any sports activity without the certificate.

The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue (e.g. issued on: 16/09/2023 expires on: 15/09/2024).

The certificate must NOT include:

  • limitations on sport activity or intensity
  • endorsements stating “sound and robust constitution.”
  • endorsements indicating supervision by a professional adult.

In Italy the professionals authorized to issue these certificates include:

  • Family physicians;
  • Doctors specializing in Sports Medicine;
  • Physicians registered with the Italian Sports Medicine Federation (FMSI).

The certificate must be typed (not handwritten by the doctor). The doctor may require an ECG test to issue the certificate.

Even if you do not live in Italy, submission of the certificate is MANDATORY. The certificate issued by a qualified physician must state “fit for sport” and must be written in English.

Do returning members still need to submit and bring all the required documents? keyboard_arrow_down

Personal area/My Camp keyboard_arrow_down

Log in with the credentials (sent to you via email after your online booking). Keep your username and password, as you will need them at the beginning of the Camp!

On “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”: Fill in all the required information in order to receive the Camp invitation by email.

On “CAMP MAGAZINE”: For Residential Camps only, you will be able to see photos at the beginning of Camp.

On “PAYMENTS”: if you have paid the insurance (for Residential Camps only) it will not appear in the payments section.

At the Camp

If my son stays two weeks, will he receive two training kits? keyboard_arrow_down

No, one training kit will be delivered the first day of the Camp.

Can my kid take home the training kit? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, the training kit is included in the price of the holiday, so the participant can take it home.

My son wears eyeglasses, can he participate in training sessions wearing them? keyboard_arrow_down

If your child wears eyeglasses during field activities, they must be equipped with special impact-resistant protective glasses with celluloid frames and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses. We require this rule for the safety of all our participants: the use of eyeglasses unsuitable for sporting activity may be dangerous for all the participants.

Contact lenses may be used provided the participant is able to put them on and take them off independently.

My child needs to follow special diets for health reasons, is this possible? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, you need to indicate your child’s needs in the personal area/My Camp (the link can be found in the email you received after booking). Our experts will then create a customized menu.

Is there a gluten free menu? keyboard_arrow_down

The Inter Summer Camp kitchens and team are equipped to handle special dietary requirements. If your child prefers foods from a specific brand, parents are asked to bring those items to the camp, and the camp’s kitchen staff will use them throughout their stay. Otherwise, we will provide all the necessary food.

My child is undergoing medical treatment that involves medication. Should I report this? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, you must indicate in the personal area/My Camp (the link can be found in the email you received after booking) that your child is undergoing treatment. At the Camp, the medical staff available will be there for you.

A doctor will be present at the Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, a doctor will be present 24 hours a day. The medical staff will be equipped with a defibrillator.

Contact at Residential Camp

Can I call my kid during the Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

On the first day of Camp, the Front Desk of the Residential Camp will give the telephone number and the available hours to contact the kids.

Can my son use his own telephone number? keyboard_arrow_down

Telephone numbers may be used only inside the bedrooms, and can’t be used outside the bedrooms.

Necessary equipment

What should I put in my child's suitcase? keyboard_arrow_down

The following items are recommended to be packed in the suitcase:

  • personal hygiene products (toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.);
  • 1 pair of football cleats and 1 football shoes , if the first pair is new (for possible blisters) – no iron cleats;
  • shin guards;
  • sneakers;
  • underwear needed for all days of camp (those who will stay 2 weeks will have the option of free laundry service at the end of the first week);
  • a bathrobe;
  • a pair of slippers;
  • a jacket;
  • a k-way;
  • protective sunscreen (including lips);
  • for goalkeepers: gloves
  • for goalkeepers: those who did not purchase the goalkeeper kit, we recommend to bring goalkeeper pants and jersey
  • 1 or 2 changes of casual clothes for the last day. The participant will always wear the Inter training kit provided by Camp.
  • If your child wears eyeglasses during field activities, they must be equipped with special impact-resistant protective glasses with celluloid frames and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses. We require this rule for the safety of all our participants: the use of eyeglasses unsuitable for sporting activity may be dangerous for all the participants.

Special needs

My child will be attending Summer Camp with a group of friends. Can they share a room together?? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, simply indicate in the section “in stanza con” in the personal area/my camp (link in the email you received after booking) the names of the children with whom your child wants to share the room.
The Inter Summer Camp Staff will make the appropriate arrangements.

Program

What time are arrivals and departures scheduled at Inter Summer Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Some days before the start of Camp, you will receive all the useful information about the arrival time. Departures will be on Saturday at midday after the awards ceremony (parents can also attend the Camp).

Will the staff be available to the kids throughout the entire duration of the camp? keyboard_arrow_down

The Inter Summer Camp staff is always with the kids, 24 hours a day to provide them with continuous assistance throughout the duration of the Camp.

During the night are the children supervised? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, there are always supervised, a person of the staff will be present during the night.

Can parents visit the place of the Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Parents are not allowed to visit the hotel. Children will be left in charge of the Staff at the Front desk.

Can parents stay in the same hotel of their kids? keyboard_arrow_down

No, the hotels that host the children are completely reserved for them. The Inter Summer Camp organization does not make arrangements for parents.

Residential Camp in Horsham

Where will the participants be departing from? keyboard_arrow_down

Air travel is planned with departures from Milan and Rome. Days before the departure, you will receive details about the travel arrangements, including the time and pick-up location.

What document is compulsory to travel to Horsham? keyboard_arrow_down

A valid passport for travel abroad and valid for the entire period of stay is required. Minors under the age of 14 are required to complete the Form issued by the Police Headquarters regarding the accompaniment of minors under the age of 14 abroad. It will be the responsibility of Holiday System SRL to send to participants under the age of 14 the form with the details of the accompanying person.

What is included in the price of the Camp? keyboard_arrow_down

The fee includes: round-trip airfare, coach transfer to/from the airport to/from the college, stay at Christ’s Hospital College, a language course with native speakers, visits to London and Portsmouth, 24-hour assistance from our qualified staff, the presence of an Italian Doctor, training and other sports activities, and insurance.

Is an insurance provided for participants? keyboard_arrow_down

Of course, accident and liability insurance coverage is provided for each participant.

What will be necessary to bring for health care? keyboard_arrow_down

A photocopy of the health card that is required to access medical and health benefits free of charge in the UK. An Italian doctor will be present at the College to assist the students 24 hours a day, including during trips. In addition, the participant will be covered by an insurance policy that includes a wide range of situations (check the vacation regulations for more details).

How much money is it recommended to give children for personal expenses? keyboard_arrow_down

The fee already covers everything in the program, but it is recommended to give children 100-150 pounds for personal expenses.

Is it allowed to bring valuables? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, the organization will not be held responsible for theft, loss, forgetfulness, or damage to valuables due to personal negligence or accidental causes. Upon arrival, children may hand over their personal belongings to our team manager for safekeeping during their stay and retrieve them upon departure

Where will the participants be staying? keyboard_arrow_down

The students will be hosted in the College’s residences, in rooms with shared bathrooms and showers (1 bathroom and 1 shower for every 2-3 people)

Will participants be staying on their own during the camp? keyboard_arrow_down

Our Italian staff will be by the children’s side 24 hours a day to provide continuous assistance throughout their stay.

  • 2 pajamas;
  • 1 shower/bath towel;
  • 1 face towel;
  • 1 canvas bag for dirty laundry;
  • 4 leisure T-shirts;
  • 4 pairs of socks.

Clothes washing will be available at the College laundry (with assistance from our staff).

Upon arrival at the college, the boys will receive the Inter clothing kit

Can the parents call the participants? keyboard_arrow_down

Certainly, there is free Wi-Fi available inside the College, as well as a computer room with free internet access.

Additionally, all parents will be provided with the contact number of our Italian Director, who will be on call 24 hours a day for any emergencies.

What's the English program? keyboard_arrow_down

The students will take an entrance test and be placed into classes of up to 15 participants based on their English proficiency level. The classes will also include students of different nationalities. At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued, recognized and valid as school credit.

How will the classes be scheduled alongside the training sessions keyboard_arrow_down

During the first week, the children will attend classes either in the morning or afternoon and train during the remaining half of the day. In the second week, the schedules will be reversed. In any case, the boys will train for at least 3 hours each day.

Information Day Camps

What are the hours for the Day Camps? keyboard_arrow_down

Each Day Camp has different schedules, which will be communicated to families before the Camp begins. However, the meeting time for all Camps will be between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and participant pick-up must be between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless otherwise notified by the Camp secretary.

When the training kit is delivered? keyboard_arrow_down

Parents exercising Parental Responsibility are the only individuals legally authorized to pick up their minor children after practice. If parents are unable to do so, they may authorize a third party to pick up the child by providing a signed authorization and a copy of their ID.

No proxy document is required when bringing the participant to Camp, as long as the necessary documentation has already been completed and signed by the parent exercising parental responsibility.
